Dr. Chu has been extremely proactive in exploring various areas in which clinical pathologists can contribute professionally. She was elected to serve as the Vice President of the Postdoctoral Association at the College of Veterinary Medicine and actively participates in the ASVCP Web and Communication Committee. Meanwhile, she managed to complete the intensive 27-week VIN course of Quality Management for the Veterinary Clinical Pathology Laboratory (Part I & II).

Outside from work, she enjoys outdoor activities, hang out with my friends as well as painting and spending time with her husband, Bill Cheng, a software developer at Google, and her furbabies, Aggie (a tabby cat) and Toby (a rescued Chi-Poo).
